A check at home
Traces of blood in urine are usually invisible, and collecting a urine sample from a cat is hard. The test particles turn blue on contact with colourless trace blood.
Absorbent pea-fibre pellets
The tofu pellets absorb like a sponge and clump quickly, so less liquid reaches the bottom of the tray and each scoop uses less litter.
Two pellet sizes, less scatter
The mix wraps waste more completely and scatters less outside the tray.

Delivery. Royal Mail or DPD Tracked 48-hour delivery is £3.98, and free on orders over £40 (excluding Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Northern Scotland). Tracked 24-hour delivery is £5.98, or £1.98 on orders over £40. We dispatch within 24 hours of your order, excluding Sundays and bank holidays. You will see a delivery estimate at checkout.

hercat began with Coco, our founder, and Coco, the deaf cat she brought home from a London shelter in 2018, whom the shelter had already named after her. From that pair came the whole idea of the shop: a home that works for both of them. We make our own plant-based litter, the one you may know as CocoCat (it is becoming HerCat: same team, same care), and we choose a small number of other brands for the rest of a cat's home, from trees and scratchers to bowls and toys.
Because a cat and the person she lives with are two full lives in one home, and cat products are made for the cat, or for the person. We choose for both. Everything here has to work in a flat where the tray cannot be hidden: litter that clumps fast and keeps the dust down, furniture a cat will use and you will not want to hide. We say plainly what each product does and does not do, and if something stops earning its place, it comes off the shelf.
