pidan Cassava & Tofu Clumping Cat Litter
A plant-based clumping cat litter that mixes 70% tofu pellets with 30% fine cassava granules, for owners who want firm clumps with less dust and tracking than a fine litter alone.
Two granule sizes, one firm clump
The small cassava granules fill the gaps between the tofu pellets, so liquid is held near the surface and forms dry, non-sticky clumps that lift out whole instead of reaching the bottom of the tray.
Odour held in the clump
Both materials are porous and absorbent, so they hold moisture and smell inside the clump rather than letting it spread through the room.
Less tracking
The heavier, paw-friendly tofu pellets don't stick to paws easily, and the blend's weight helps keep litter in the tray instead of on the floor.
Low dust
Firm pellets and firm clumps resist crumbling into powder when you pour and scoop.
Plant-based, no clay
No clay and no added fragrance.

Questions, answered
hercat began with Coco, our founder, and Coco, the deaf cat she brought home from a London shelter in 2018, whom the shelter had already named after her. From that pair came the whole idea of the shop: a home that works for both of them. We make our own plant-based litter, the one you may know as CocoCat (it is becoming HerCat: same team, same care), and we choose a small number of other brands for the rest of a cat's home, from trees and scratchers to bowls and toys.
Because a cat and the person she lives with are two full lives in one home, and cat products are made for the cat, or for the person. We choose for both. Everything here has to work in a flat where the tray cannot be hidden: litter that clumps fast and keeps the dust down, furniture a cat will use and you will not want to hide. We say plainly what each product does and does not do, and if something stops earning its place, it comes off the shelf.
We use Royal Mail or DPD tracked delivery. 48-hour delivery is free on orders over £40 and £3.98 below; 24-hour delivery is £1.98 over £40 and £5.98 below.
