Built-in fan
A fan in the top keeps air moving through the carrier, with two speed settings.

Sprung wheels
Spring-mounted rubber wheels absorb bumps and reduce noise on uneven pavements.
One-way window
The round window opens outward with a lock button so you can reach in to reassure your cat. A spring closes it automatically, and it cannot be opened from inside.
Two handles, rechargeable
Use the fixed handle to carry it or the telescopic handle to wheel it. The fan and light charge over USB-C, and a power bank works too.

Good to know
- Lock the window before you set off.
- Lift the carrier on stairs and steps rather than wheeling it, and don't stand it on its wheels on a slope or unstable surface.
- The shell copes with splashes but is not fully waterproof. Wipe it dry if it gets wet, and keep it away from heaters and strong sunlight.
- Four ventilation holes at the edge of the window keep air flowing even if the back mesh is covered.
- Clean with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner. Avoid solvents and alcohol.

Delivery. Royal Mail or DPD Tracked 48-hour delivery is £3.98, and free on orders over £40 (excluding Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Northern Scotland). Tracked 24-hour delivery is £5.98, or £1.98 on orders over £40. We dispatch within 24 hours of your order, excluding Sundays and bank holidays. You will see a delivery estimate at checkout.

hercat began with Coco, our founder, and Coco, the deaf cat she brought home from a London shelter in 2018, whom the shelter had already named after her. From that pair came the whole idea of the shop: a home that works for both of them. We make our own plant-based litter, the one you may know as CocoCat (it is becoming HerCat: same team, same care), and we choose a small number of other brands for the rest of a cat's home, from trees and scratchers to bowls and toys.
Because a cat and the person she lives with are two full lives in one home, and cat products are made for the cat, or for the person. We choose for both. Everything here has to work in a flat where the tray cannot be hidden: litter that clumps fast and keeps the dust down, furniture a cat will use and you will not want to hide. We say plainly what each product does and does not do, and if something stops earning its place, it comes off the shelf.
